Job summary

Transportation Insight, LLC is seeking a Solutions Engineer to assess and develop logistics solutions that improve client business models. The role combines data analysis with hands-on leadership to support the deal cycle and pricing strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design profitable solutions.

Required: 5+ years in supply chain, BS in business or related field (MBA preferred), strong MS Office skills, and project management ability.

Qualifications

• BS degree in business or related field.
• MBA preferred if not in business field.
• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain management.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).
• LEAN / Six Sigma certification or experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong collaboration with internal operations teams in solution development.

Responsibilities

• Assess validated prospects’ current supply chain program by documenting current state.
• Understand client systems and objectives to propose best solution.
• Document the future solution for presentations and documentation.
• Assist pricing strategies for services.
• Support sales in demonstrating technology platforms to close new business.
• Communicate effectively with prospects and clients via phone, web, and on-site.
• Support ongoing improvement by documenting best practices.
• Move to full-time, benefits-eligible position, with standard office environment.
