Job summary

Transportation Insight, LLC is seeking a Solutions Engineer to assess, develop and support logistics solutions for clients, driving profitable implementations. You will lead cross-functional efforts, price complex multi‑mode service solutions, and assist sales with demonstrations of technology platforms to close deals.

Responsibilities include documenting current and future state, collaborating with operations, and managing multiple projects with minimal supervision. Travel up to 15% is required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in business or related field; MBA preferred if Bachelor’s degree is not in business or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).
• LEAN / Six Sigma certification or experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assess a validated prospects’ current supply chain program by documenting current state.
• Understand the client’s systems/applications used in current state and propose the best solution for their needs.
• Document the future solution to aid production of presentations and documentation.
• Help create pricing strategies for Transportation Insight service offerings that are competitive and attractive.
• Assist sales personnel in demonstrating technology platforms that lead to deal closure.
• Communicate with prospects and clients via phone, web, and on-site as appropriate.
• Support ongoing improvement by documenting best practices and transitioning clients to implementation teams.
