Job summary

Transportation Insight, LLC is seeking a Solutions Engineer to assess and develop logistics solutions that improve clients' business models. You will analyze data, design future states, and support the deal cycle with strategic thinking and practical execution.

You will collaborate with sales, operations and client teams to price complex multi-modal services, demonstrate platforms, and ensure the proposed solution can be operated by the client and is profitable. Travel up to 15% is typical.

Qualifications

• BS degree in business or related field required.
• MBA preferred if Bachelor’s degree not in business or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain management.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).
• LEAN / Six Sigma certification or experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess a validated prospects’ current supply chain program by documenting current state.
• Understand the client's systems/applications and overall objectives to propose the best solution.
• Document the future solution for presentations and documentation.
• Help create pricing strategies for services that are competitive and attractive.
• Assist sales in demonstrating technology platforms to close new business.
• Communicate with prospects and clients at the necessary pace.
• Support transition of clients from sales to implementation/account management.
