Job summary

Hermès seeks a Senior Manager of Logistics Operations for its Dayton Distribution & Service Center in New Jersey. You will lead daily throughput, staff allocation, and continuous improvement initiatives across ecommerce, retail and wholesale channels.

The role requires 10 years in a similar capacity, strong budgeting skills, and experience with WMS and Cegid. Flexibility to work weekends and multiple shifts is expected; Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in a similar role or department
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Conversational Spanish language preferred
• WMS - Manhattan Associates Software knowledge preferred
• Cegid knowledge preferred
• Solid budgeting knowledge and judgment
• High attention to detail
• Proven ability to meet long and short-term deadlines
• Strong MS Office & PowerPoint skills
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexible work schedule, including some weekends during peak periods

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily logistics operations including small package, LTL and fulfillment
• Ensure staff allocation to Ecommerce to meet business demands
• Maintain receiving, warehousing and distribution operations with policies and procedures
• Onboard, train and mentor employees to maximize output
• Own optimization of Distribution Center efficiency (Inbound/Outbound/inventory accuracy)
• Collaborate with Distribution Service & Transportation to address issues
• Support process design and standardization for DC operations
• Drive continuous improvements to delivery processes and internal customer satisfaction
• Develop layout and flow strategies to optimize product movement
