Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC in Hopewell Junction, NY is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead hourly crews and ensure daily tasks, driver deliveries, loading/unloading, cross-docking and customer service align with service and cost goals.

You will supervise processes, assist in hiring, review routes, and manage records while maintaining safety and compliance. Hours are Monday–Friday, 12:00pm–10:00pm; salary range shown below.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Advanced computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership to hourly workforce to execute daily tasks and activities.
• Supervise logistics operations including customer service, freight loading/unloading, dispatch and documentation control.
• Review routes, costs and fleet utilization; assist in training and cover duties as needed.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and manage overtime to meet productivity targets.
