Penske Logistics in Hopewell Junction, NY seeks an experienced Senior Operations Supervisor to lead hourly staff, schedule work, and ensure safe, cost-efficient execution of daily tasks including driver deliveries, loading/unloading, and cross-docking. You will review routes, manage productivity, and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

2–4 years related functional experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Strong written/oral communication and organizational skills.
Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Regular, predictable full attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

Lead hourly staff to ensure daily task execution and scheduling.
Supervise dispatch, loading/unloading, and documentation; improve work methods.
Manage costs, overtime, and productivity while maintaining safety.
Ensure safety compliance and provide training and feedback.
Plan fleet usage and coordinate with hourly associates.
Assist in hiring and provide disciplinary counseling as needed.
