Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking a Logistics Manager for dedicated transportation. You will supervise salaried and hourly staff, drive account profitability, and coordinate with customers to exceed service levels.

The role requires strong leadership, payroll management, vendor coordination, and a solid grasp of transportation logistics and safety requirements. Local travel and shift flexibility are expected.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.
• 3+ years in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field.
• 2+ years managing and leading direct reports.
• Excellent knowledge of Transportation and/or Warehouse Logistics operations (advanced).
• Excellent knowledge of safety and security requirements (advanced).

Responsibilities

• Manage the performance of salaried and hourly employees under responsibility; address performance issues and ensure policy compliance.
• Collaborate with senior management and customers to define needs and operate the account to meet demands.
• Be responsible for payroll and vendor quotes; manage accounts payable and customer invoicing.
• Analyze weekly/monthly P&L and provide financial data and reports to senior management.
• Lead safety and security meetings and provide safety training in compliance with regulations.
