D&G Solutions is seeking a Senior Logistician to support the U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center in Baltimore, MD.

The role involves guiding junior logisticians, coordinating with the Section Chief, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution within SBPL-supported assets. The position requires 5+ years in logistics for small boat maintenance and experience with the Coast Guard Logistics Business Model, along with proficiency in FLS and NESSS.

Qualifications

• 5+ years engaged in logistics support of small boat maintenance.
• 5+ years of experience with the Coast Guard Logistics Business Model.
• 3+ years of experience utilizing FLS and NESSS.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and training to junior logisticians.
• Coordinate with the Section Chief to fill gaps due to personnel shortages and increased workload.
• Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure successful project execution with clear goals and priorities.
• Provide weekly and monthly reports on contract work status.
• Oversee a team of five logisticians (one senior, four junior) to meet Government quality standards.
• Draft Equipment Integrated Logistics Support Plans for SBPL-supported assets.
• Apply Reliability-Centered Maintenance principles and standards to SBPL-supported assets.
• Maintain maintenance and configuration data in FLS-MAM and NESSS; verify MPCs and update records.
