Job summary

D&G Solutions seeks a Junior Logistician to support the U.S. Coast Guard SFLC in Baltimore, MD. On-site role involving logistics, maintenance processes, and readiness of USCG fleet. Regular contact with GS-14/15 personnel in a mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining maintenance data, applying RM principles, and generating reports across FLS, MAM, and NESSS databases. U.S. citizen required; security clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years engaged in logistics support of small boat maintenance.
• 2+ years of experience with the Coast Guard Logistics Business Model.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Determine the extent and acceptability of interchangeable and substitute items and recommend equipment modifications as necessary.
• Determine the effect of maintenance changes on the supply chain.
• Assess and advise on the impact of equipment support program efforts across the Coast Guard.
• Apply the 10 elements of logistics to Small Boat Product Line (SBPL) supported assets.
• Draft Equipment Integrated Logistics Support Plans for systems and equipment supported by SBPL.
• Apply Reliability-Centered Maintenance principles and standards including MIL-P-24534 Planned Maintenance System, SAE JA1011, ABS RCM, and MSG-3 to SBPL-supported assets.
