Job summary

INNOVIM LLC is seeking a Logistics Subject Matter Expert for inventory management to ensure adequate levels of material at NOAA's National Logistics Support Center in Silver Spring, MD. You will analyze stock levels, solicit quotes, and develop acquisition documentation for credit card purchases supporting NWS systems.

The role requires 5-7 years of logistics experience, MILSTRIP knowledge, and US citizenship. Onsite work with competitive benefits and national coverage is offered.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in logistics or related area.
• Knowledge of MILSTRIP requisitioning, processing and tracking transactions.
• Knowledge of military supply chain processes including requisitioning, release, issue, redistribution, and disposal of materiel.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and review documentation for acquisition, testing, and implementation of surface equipment and hydrologic programs.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to establish project goals, deliverables and schedules.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies and manage project plans.
• Lead meetings and ensure communication across stakeholders.
• Monitor operations and maintenance performance, availability, reliability and trend analysis.
• Prepare and track plans for redesigned ASOS system and Upper Air program.
• Allocate resources, monitor budgets, track expenditures and report project progress.
• Implement quality control measures and drive continuous process improvements and standardization.
• Support MILSTRIP acquisitions for external NWS customers and manage replenishment spares at NLSC.
