Job summary

TNS Inc. is seeking a Logistics Specialist to ensure inventory security, manage replenishment strategies, and coordinate material flow across purchasing, production and engineering.

The role involves cycle counts, audits, and data entry into asset management systems, with 24x7 emergency coverage as needed. The ideal candidate has IT and logistics exposure, familiarity with database systems, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of commonly used network concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Capable of following instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform various functions of the job.
• Performs work under direct supervision.
• Demonstrates experience in working concurrently on several easy to reasonably complex projects with guidance required.
• Demonstrates the ability to use independent judgment regularly in performance of job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and reviews Remedy notifications sent to the Logistics Outlook Inbox.
• Works to complete limited scope projects within budget and scheduling constraints.
• Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored in the appropriate databases.
• Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of projects.
• Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle.
