Job summary

Traffic Tech is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Chicago to coordinate freight movement across North America and beyond. You will support the Operations team, build relationships with customers and vendors, and ensure shipments are executed to meet customers’ needs.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the Customer Success Manager and Director, leadership capability, and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in logistics, LTL and supply chain.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent phone and email communication and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer and vendor relationships.
• Manage day-to-day transportation operations including load building, tracking, scheduling, issue resolution and continuous improvement.
• Provide weekly coaching and work with leadership to implement changes and efficiencies.
• Maintain customer SOPs and ensure timely internal/external communication.
• Collaborate with carrier and sales teams and assist with cost negotiations.
