Job summary

Traffic Tech is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Chicago office. The role focuses on coordinating North American freight movement, building strong customer relationships, and working with the Operations team to ensure accurate and timely shipments.

The ideal candidate offers 5+ years in logistics/LTL, strong communication, problem solving, and leadership skills, and is proficient in Microsoft Office. This full-time position supports a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in logistics, LTL and supply chain.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain strong customer and vendor relationships.
• Manage day-to-day transportation operations including load building, tracking, scheduling shipments, and issue resolution.
• Provide weekly coaching in 1-on-1s with the Director and Customer Success Manager to implement changes and efficiencies.
• Create and maintain customer SOPs.
• Maintain effective and professional communication internally and externally in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with carrier and sales teams.
• Ensure data accuracy in reporting.
• Oversee afterhours and weekend shipments and handle issues as they arise.
