FreightTAS in Chicago is seeking a Domestic Truckload FTL/LTL Coordinator to oversee daily shipments and support growth. You will manage tasks for new and existing customers, coordinate with carriers, and ensure timely updates.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in domestic transportation, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a team-oriented, fast-paced work ethic. Microsoft Office proficiency is required, and medical/401k benefits are provided.

• 3+ years of experience in Domestic Transportation.
• Strong communication and negotiating skills.

Responsibilities

• Quoting several modes of transportation based on customer needs.
• Coordinating shipments with customers and booking with carriers.
• Negotiating rates with carriers.
• Tracking shipments and updating customers.
• Learning and understanding trucking markets.
• Developing new carrier relationships.
• Maintaining strong communication with customers and building relationships.
• Completing accurate profit and loss analysis for each shipment.
