Job summary

Redwood Logistics LLC in Chicago, IL is seeking a Client Logistics Coordinator in our Managed Services group. You will support daily operations for assigned customers, learn LTL, Truckload, and Intermodal planning, and perform load building, scheduling, and customer communication.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience or more.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn transportation and logistics basics, carrier factors, and customer needs.
• Learn our transportation management systems and processes supporting customers.
• Provide exceptional customer service in every interaction.
• Oversee day-to-day operations for key customer accounts, including data entry, load planning, shipment tracking, and issue management.
• Manage carrier and customer relationships with Account Management and Freight Audit & Pay teams.
• Investigate and resolve problems such as delays, missed pickups, and damaged freight.
• Communicate updates proactively to customers and internal teams.
• Handle phone inquiries promptly.
• Master system shortcuts to minimize administrative work.
