Job summary

OEC Group is seeking a Senior Sales Account Executive (Senior Logistics Consultant) in Burlingame, CA to drive full sales lifecycle from prospecting to closing. You will act as trusted advisor for freight forwarding needs and expand the client base in the local market.

Key responsibilities include presenting comprehensive service lines, meeting revenue quotas, and coordinating with CRM and global offices. Travel locally is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years' experience directly selling ocean and/or air services within a freight forwarder.
Experience using CargoWise One ERP system preferred.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Strong understanding of local territory and market opportunities.
High emotional intelligence, integrity and hunter mentality.
Willingness to travel locally to meet clients.
Proficiency in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Seek out new clients and establish a book of business through prospecting and networking.
Present OEC Group's service offers: Ocean/Air Import-Export, Distribution & Warehousing, Trucking, Insurance, and Customs Brokerage.
Meet monthly revenue quotas set by Sales management.
Collaborate with CRM Specialists to establish local market presence.
Maintain communication with internal teams and overseas offices.
Travel locally for client meetings and presentations.
