Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Simi Valley, CA is seeking a Logistics/Operations professional to manage inventory and customer orders, review pricing and terms, and coordinate with shipping, warehousing, and suppliers.

You will analyze demand data, allocate inventory, negotiate deliveries, support forecast management, and assist with RMAs/CERs; requires a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years in logistics-related roles; hybrid schedule with potential for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience of not less than 4 years.
• Excellent negotiation skills and strong communication are essential.
• Experience in purchasing, warehousing, logistics and customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand inventory management & other Logistics programs.
• Review customer orders/ blanket orders for price, quantity, delivery terms.
• Perform customer service and resolve routine and complex issues.
• Analyze demand/inventory data and release orders for shipping.
• Allocate inventory across customers when stock is limited.
• Coordinate with shipping, warehouse, manufacturing sites, IS, purchasing and QA.
• Discuss and negotiate with customers re: demand, forecasts and inventory levels.
• Coordinate RMAs and CERs to resolve discrepancies.
• Suggest improvements for inbound/outbound product flows and inventory movement.
