Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Simi Valley, CA is seeking a procurement-focused professional to manage negotiation, purchasing, and inventory planning within our hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities include supplier price inquiries, PO creation, and collaboration on continuous improvement initiatives across product lines. A 4+ year equivalent experience and a relevant degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accredited university or equivalent experience of not less than 4 years.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate independently, maintain a sustainable process and support ongoing Supply Chain projects.
• Create purchase orders in accordance with internal process specifications and procurement guidelines.
• Conduct daily price inquiries with suppliers to prepare orders.
• Review daily shortage and ATP list for product demand requirements.
• Support project team in obtaining quotes for project/contract inquiries.
• Collaborate and assist in development of tools and continuous improvement projects.
• Own supply planning and inventory management for designated Product Lines based on Supply Chain strategies.
