Job summary

RWB Trucking LLC is seeking an experienced Account Manager to grow a large, multi-modal account base and drive revenue for our brokerage services. You will maintain strategic relationships with key shippers and lead efforts to deliver on-time, cost-efficient transportation solutions.

The role requires building trust with customers, coordinating across carriers, and working in a fast-paced logistics environment to meet delivery commitments and service levels.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in 3PL, transportation, freight brokerage, or supply chain, with customer-facing experience.
• Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships and drive retention/growth.
• Strong understanding of truckload, LTL, and other transportation solutions.
• Experience coordinating shipments, resolving issues, and enhancing service/profitability.
• Proficient in CRM/TMS and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow assigned accounts across multiple transportation modes.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Quote freight and negotiate rates with customers and carriers.
• Coordinate with carrier sales and operations to cover loads and meet delivery commitments.
• Track shipments and provide proactive status updates to customers.
• Resolve service issues, claims and billing questions quickly.
• Review account performance and identify opportunities to grow business.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities across modes (FTL, LTL, flatbed, drayage).
• Hold regular business reviews with key customers.
• Keep CRM and TMS records accurate and up-to-date.
• Collaborate with sales on new opportunities and customer visits.
