Job summary

Western Alliance Bank is seeking a Senior Lockbox Processor to support the Receivable Operations, handling electronic and paper-based payments with accurate data capture and posting. You will work within a team to expedite payment posting, balance deposits, and ensure a professional customer experience.

The role emphasizes data entry, quality control, and meeting deadlines, with opportunity to train new staff and handle high-value clients while maintaining exceptional service levels.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience in Branch Banking Operations or similar field.
• High school diploma required.
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Back office receivables operation experience.
• Ability to 10 key by touch and perform alphanumeric data entry with a high level of accuracy.
• Entry level speaking and writing communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Receivables Supervisor on executing a comprehensive, prompt and efficient client experience.
• Support the daily workflow and ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
• Execute routine tasks such as sorting mail, extracting payments and/or correspondence, reviewing payments for accuracy, and scanning deposits using high speed optical scanners.
• Ensure strict processing deadlines are met prior to designated cutoff times. Assist in training and development of new employees, perform advanced research and may handle high value clients.
