Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience: Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing a computer/keyboard.
• Preferred: 1+ years of data entry or customer service experience.
• Strong keying skills with a high level of attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and banking software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Processes and keys Lockbox client receivables deposits and customer internal loan payments using Lockbox software.
• Prepares remittance and correspondence and distributes to Lockbox clients daily.
• Generates and reviews monthly reports and escalates discrepancies to the Senior Lockbox Processor.
• Upholds the Five Star Bank Experience in interactions with internal and external customers and associates; teamwork and service are emphasized.
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $16.55 To $18.50 Hourly

The expected rate of pay for this position is shown above. Purpose:

The Lockbox Processor is responsible for the processing and reporting of receivables for commercial/municipal Lockbox clients and Bank customer internal loan payments.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Degree of Supervision Received: Moderate to High

Essential Functions:

• Processes and keys Lockbox client receivables deposits and customer internal loan payments utilizing Lockbox software.
• Prepares remittance and correspondence related to processed receivables and distributes to Lockbox clients daily.
• Generates and reviews monthly reports. Escalate any discrepancies to the Senior Lockbox Processor
• Demonstrates the standards and principles of the Five Star Bank Experience in every interaction with internal and external customers and associates. Incorporates the high-performance behaviors of teamwork, leading by example and service in every facet of work.

Job Related Qualifications – Education and Prior Experience:

Required:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing a computer/keyboard

Preferred:

• Prior Experience: 1+ years of data entry or customer service experience
• Possess strong keying skills with a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy
• Able to maintain confidentiality at all times
• Ability to take initiative in problem solving and make practical decisions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Possess a high level of attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions/procedures to ensure accuracy
• Intermediate level with all Microsoft Office applications including the ability to learn new and existing banking software
• Responds to requests for information in a timely and professional manner
• Dependable in meeting attendance requirements and schedules established for the department

Physical Requirements:

• Able to regularly sit for prolonged periods of time.
