Qualifications

• 7-10 years — lending industry or bank operations experience (Preferred).
• 7-10 years — supervisory/management experience (Required).
• Knowledge of complex loan documentation, structuring, and servicing procedures; knowledge of policies and regulations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Planning, project management, and continuous improvement development skills.
• Knowledge of operational process improvement methods and banking technology.
• Advanced proficiency in loan origination software (LaserPro preferred) and banking systems.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of bank loan policies and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain systems for efficient daily operations.
• Prepare and monitor department budget and expenses.
• Oversee department compliance and risk management for internal audits.
• Monitor daily workflows and coach performance; conduct reviews.
• Manage hiring, firing, and performance appraisals for staff.
• Develop department roadmaps and change management processes.
• Maintain security and privacy standards; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead strategic initiatives and manage vendor relationships for loan ops.
• May coach or train others and share knowledge as SME.
• Actively promote Columbia corporate culture and initiative.
