# Senior Loan Doc SpecialistAVB Operations Center - Broken Arrow, OK 74012## OverviewPosition TypeFull Time## Description**Summary**The Loan Documentation Specialist is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and processing loan documents for various types of lending products. This role ensures that all loan documentation complies with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and State and Federal laws and regulations. The Specialist works closely with loan officers, loan assistants and bank operation personnel to ensure accurate and timely completion of the loan documentation processes.**Primary Responsibilities*** Review loan documentation packages for accuracy and completeness.* Ensure loan documentation is in compliance with federal and state regulations and aligned with the credit approval, bank policies, and department procedures* Collaborate with loan officers, loan assistants and other operation personnel to resolve documentation discrepancies* Enter and update loan data into the loan origination system as needed* Verify borrower information, collateral details, and loan terms* Monitor loan documentation status within record retention system and follow up on outstanding items/exceptions* Maintain and organize digital and physical loan documentation* File and/or release perfected items* Assist with post-closing documentation audits and quality control* Provide support during audits and regulatory examinations* Respond to internal and external inquiries related to loan documentation* Various projects and duties as assigned by the Loan Compliance Officer## Qualifications**Minimum Qualifications and Skills*** High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred* At least five (5) years of experience in loan operations, loan servicing, or a related financial institution role with commercial, consumer, and/or mortgage loan products* Understanding of compliance regulations including but not limited to TRID, Flood, UDAAP, BSA, and HMDA* Experience with loan origination and record retention systems* Experience with banking core applications* Strong attention to detail and accuracy* Excellent organizational and time-management skills including but not limited to the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment* Intermediate skills with MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel and MS Word* Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality* Notary Public certification preferred**Physical Requirements****Time spent standing:** Less than10%**Lifting:** 10 pounds**Frequency:** Occasionally**Other:** Ability to speak and hear clearly.
