Job summary

Dime Commercial Bank (Dime) is seeking a Senior Documentation Closing Specialist at its Hauppauge, NY headquarters. You will prepare and review loan documents, coordinate closings, and ensure compliance across commercial loan portfolios.

The role requires 3+ years in loan documentation, Laser Pro experience, and strong MS Office skills. This is a non-remote, on-site position with salary ranging from $75,000 to $85,000 depending on experience and location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience with Loan Documentation.
• Laser Pro or equivalent experience required.
• Advanced multitasking, time management, and organizational skills.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with Fiserv Premier or Sageworks a plus.
• Knowledge of commercial regulatory requirements a plus.

Responsibilities

• Closing Pipeline: manage closing pipeline up to Commercial Bank Closing Pipeline, update status for exec mgmt.
• Document Management: maintain closing folders and update loan system records.
• Due Diligence: review credit approvals, collateral, insurance, ownership, and KYC.
• Document Preparation: prepare promissory notes, loan agreements, security documents, and supporting forms.
• Closing Coordination: coordinate closings with internal/external parties and validate with DocuSign.
• Compliance: ensure regulatory compliance and internal policy adherence.
• Loan Funding: verify holds, escrows, expenses, and approvals prior to funding.
• Training and Guidance: support colleagues on processes and compliance.
