Job summary

Dime Commercial Bank is seeking a Senior Documentation Closing Specialist at its Hauppauge, Long Island headquarters. The role coordinates closings, reviews documents, and ensures compliance for various commercial loan types, serving as a liaison between borrowers, legal counsel, loan officers, and the loan transaction team.

Salary ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience. This is not a remote role and requires attachment of a recent resume.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience with loan documentation.
• LaserPro or equivalent experience required.
• Advanced multitasking, time management, and organizational skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• User knowledge of Fiserv 'Premier' system or equivalent, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage closing pipeline across loan types and keep status up to date for executive review.
• Create and maintain closing folders; ensure records are complete and accurate in loan system.
• Perform due diligence reviews including credit packages, collateral verification, and KYC.
• Prepare loan documentation using LaserPro and MS Word (Notes, Loan Agreement, Pledge, UCC filings, etc.).
• Coordinate closings with internal and external parties and validate with DocuSign.
• Ensure regulatory and internal compliance throughout closing process.
• Prepare loan funding/settlement; verify collateral holds, escrow items, and fees.
• Provide guidance to colleagues on closing procedures and compliance.
