Job summary

The role requires reviewing obligations, preparing legal documents, and ensuring strict compliance for timely delivery of loan packages.

The candidate will liaise with borrowers, legal counsel, and loan teams, handling a variety of loan types and ensuring accuracy prior to execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience with Loan Documentation.
• Laser Pro or equivalent experience required.
• Advanced multitasking, time management, and organizational skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• User working knowledge of Fiserv ‘Premier’ system or equivalent, a plus.
• User working knowledge of Sageworks or equivalent, a plus.
• Commercial regulatory compliance knowledge, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Closing Pipeline: Manage own closing pipeline for various loan types and update status for executive management.
• Document Management: Create/maintain closing folders and ensure complete records in loan system.
• Due Diligence: Review credit approvals, collateral verification, insurance accords, ownership, and KYC.
• Document Preparation: Prepare loan documents using Laser Pro and MS Word, including Promissory Note and Security Agreement.
• Closing Coordination: Coordinate closings with internal/external parties and validate with DocuSign.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulations and internal policies.
• Loan Funding: Prepare funding settlement, verify collateral holds and expenses, secure approvals.
• Training and Guidance: Provide guidance on closing process and compliance.
