Job summary

Thatsmybank is seeking a detail-oriented loan documentation professional in California to prepare and process loan documents using LaserPro, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. You will coordinate pre-closing and closing activities, manage signatures, and liaise with internal teams and external counsel.

The role requires 2+ years in loan documentation or related fields, with strong collaboration and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of loan documentation, mortgage, or consumer lending experience within financial services.
• Understanding of loan documentation types, regulatory requirements, and lending processes.
• Working knowledge of LaserPro, collateral verification and lien perfection, title/escrow processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare standard loan documents using LaserPro per approved terms.
• Review approvals and supporting documents for accuracy and due diligence.
• Coordinate closings, signature collection, and communication with partners and counsel.
• Order and track third-party reports (flood certs, titles, insurance, entity docs).
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support lenders by answering questions and clearing conditions.
• Assist in post-closing exception resolution and filing of loan files.
