Job summary

Alliant Credit Union is seeking a Lending Specialist in Chicago to own the full lending lifecycle and act as a trusted advisor across member life stages. You will deliver high-touch, personalized service, manage pipelines, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth closings and strong member relationships.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in relationship-focused, sales, lending, or financial services roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or related preferred.
• 2+ years in consumer lending, pipeline management, or consultative sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lending lifecycle from origination to closing in line with Alliant policies.
• Be the primary contact delivering high-touch concierge service.
• Retain members by addressing at-risk relationships with solutions.
• Coordinate with internal partners to resolve complex member issues.
• Onboard and integrate employment partnership groups for seamless experience.
• Provide white-glove onboarding and proactive member outreach.
• Liaise between members and internal teams to reduce friction.
• Deliver curated lending solutions that drive early value and long-term engagement.
• Maintain accurate documentation of member interactions in required systems.
• Share best practices and support continuous improvement.
• Deliver a WOW member experience in every interaction.
