Job summary

Alliant Credit Union is recruiting for a position involving loan funding and membership processing. You will coordinate with underwriters, processors, and consultants to ensure timely funding and compliant disbursement, while maintaining fraud prevention and privacy standards.

The role includes processing deposits and specialty accounts, with a focus on first-contact resolution and ongoing process improvements. A work-from-home option up to 3 days per week is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in loan funding, processing or related fields is preferred.
• Ability to verify documents and signatures and handle inquiries with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage loan funding pipeline and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and audit loan documents.
• Coordinate with underwriters, processors and consultants; handle funding and disbursement including checks and transfers.
• Process membership and accounts; review, qualify and open deposit accounts including Trust, CD, UTMA and ATM/debit cards.
• Validate membership eligibility; verify documents for fraud prevention and assist with inquiries.
• Ensure transactions comply with Bank Secrecy Act and applicable laws; maintain ethics and privacy directives.
• Participate in software testing and process improvement to enhance service quality.
