Alliant Credit Union seeks a senior leader to oversee the loan trading desk, guide complex transactions, and act as SME for trading, portfolio management, investor relations, and partnerships. You will drive pricing strategies, support strategic initiatives, and mentor analysts to ensure profitability and risk-managed growth.

The role emphasizes governance, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvements, with a focus on liquidity and strategic growth across the loan trading desk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years in Investment/Asset/Fixed Income management or related area.
• 8 years in Fixed Income Products or ABS market or quantitative modeling (in lieu of degree).

Responsibilities

• Lead complex loan sale, loan purchase, and participation transactions, including pricing strategy, transaction structure, due diligence, and closing coordination.
• Review analyst work products, reporting packages, portfolio analyses, and transaction recommendations for accuracy and alignment with department objectives.
• Coordinate departmental priorities and workload across analyst functions to support timely execution and continuity of operations.
• Serve as a contact for brokers, investors, strategic counterparties, and internal stakeholders on complex or escalated matters.
• Lead portfolio valuation, forecasting, performance analytics, market research, and executive reporting used to support strategic decision-making.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, reporting enhancements, and operational controls.
• Support audits, regulatory examinations, governance activities, and remediation efforts related to loan trading desk operations.
• Mentor analysts, provide technical guidance, and act as department lead during manager absences.
