Job summary

Banc of California, Inc. is seeking an Officer, Senior Loan Administrator to review and close commercial loan transactions, manage due diligence, and coordinate with Relationship Managers to ensure timely funding.

This role supports complex loans and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced banking environment. Ideal candidates bring 4–6 years of commercial loan administration experience, with deep knowledge of real estate, construction, C&I, and syndicated lending, plus proficiency in nCino and

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of commercial loan administration and financial services experience.
• Proficient understanding of loan documents and terms.
• Proficient in nCino and Salesforce.
• Knowledgeable in Real Estate, Construction, Commercial & Industrial (C&I), Syndicated Lending loans.
• Knowledgeable in branch functions associated with loan origination, processing, and closing.
• Assures compliance with all bank policies and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review loan files and packages to ensure required documentation is included.
• Independently analyze transaction types and determine required due diligence items and legal documents.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and loan team members to ensure timely closings.
• Handle complex loans, including outside legal documentation, Syndications/Participations, and Specialized Lending.
• Perform pre-funding validation of internal controls related to loan origination funding.
• Coordinate insurance requirements and ensure timely receipt of coverage.
