Job summary

Banc of California, Inc. is seeking a Senior Loan Administrator to manage loan transactions from application through funding and closing, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.

The role involves independent decision-making, due diligence, and coordination with loan teams to close complex loans. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of commercial loan administration experience, strong document knowledge, and familiarity with the IBS loan system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years in commercial loan administration and financial services.
• Knowledge of loan documents and terms for borrowing entities.
• Knowledge of real estate, construction, commercial & industrial, syndicated lending.

Responsibilities

• Review loan files and due diligence for accurate closings.
• Coordinate with Relationship Managers to ensure timely closings.
• Handle complex loans including syndications/participations.
• Perform pre-funding validation of SOX controls.
• Prepare closing and funding packages and balancing sheets.
• Assist in collateral perfection and filing of UCC1.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations.
