Job summary

Banc of California is seeking a Senior Loan Administrator to independently review loan transactions from application through funding and closing. You will handle due diligence, coordinate with Relationship Managers, and manage complex loans including syndicated lending and outside counsel involvement.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in commercial loan administration, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 3–5 years in commercial loan administration.
• Experience with loan closings, funding and due diligence.
• Knowledge of RESPA, HMDA and related lending policies.

Responsibilities

• Review loan files to ensure all required documentation is present and accurate.
• Analyze transaction types and determine necessary due diligence for closings.
• Coordinate with Relationship Managers to ensure timely loan closings.
• Handle complex loans, including outside legal docs and syndicated lending.
• Perform pre-funding validation of internal SOX controls for loan origination.
• Prepare final funding package and balancing sheets for boarding.
