Job summary

Intel Corporation's Information Security group seeks a Network Security Engineer to assist with architecture, design, and build of secure network products supporting US Government programs. Role involves implementing designs with COTS/GOTS and open-source solutions, ensuring adherence to DoD/IC guidance, and coordinating security assessments.

On-site with travel as needed. Candidates should hold a TS clearance, a bachelor's degree, and 3+ years in IT/network security, with experience in load

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen.
• Active US Government Top Secret (TS) security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI access.
• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of information technology experience or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in engineering with load balancing technologies (preferably F5).
• Experience configuring networks and network security infrastructure, with network design and troubleshooting, SDN and Firewall infra.
• 3+ years as a system administrator in Data Center migrations, server upgrades, OS/firmware patching, and system integration.
• 1+ years monitoring security bulletins/alerts from Partners' network vendors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with architecting network and network security products in secured enclaves, including testing and selection.
• Assist with design and long-term roadmap planning for scalability in secure enclaves.
• Define system security requirements including authorization boundaries and data classifications.
• Design security interfaces and trust relationships between components and external systems.
• Implement security designs using COTS, GOTS, and open-source software/hardware.
• Oversee hardening and configuration of systems per DoD/IC guidance.
• Coordinate security assessments and recommend corrective actions.
• Business travel may be required.
