Job summary

Peraton in Arlington, VA is seeking a Senior Network Architect to design, implement, and secure scalable network architectures. You will provide architectural guidance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements.

The role requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance, CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure, DoD 01 IAT II, and a BS in Computer Science with 16 years of related experience (four years can substitute for a degree).

Qualifications

Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 16 years of related experience; 4 years may substitute for degree.
Active CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure certification.
Active DoD 01 compliant IAT Level II certification (CCNA, Security+, etc.).
Self-driven and resourceful; capable of independent work and collaboration.
Flexible to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities.
Ability to socialize ideas, make recommendations, and move team to consensus.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure network architectures.
Provide architectural guidance for development and implementation of network solutions.
Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis for outages and latency issues.
Utilize Cisco technologies including routers, switches, firewalls, and other devices.
Optimize network performance for high availability, reliability, and scalability.
Collaborate with security teams to implement network security measures.
Partner with cross-functional teams to align with business requirements.
Provide advanced troubleshooting and Tier IV level support for complex issues.
