Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Leave of Absence Administrator to manage end-to-end LOA cases, disability claims, and time-off policies. The role requires expertise in FMLA, state leaves, ERISA, HIPAA, and SOX controls, with strong stakeholder collaboration and a focus on an excellent employee experience.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in LOA administration, CEBS/SHRM certification, and experience with UKG Workforce Management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of LOA, disability, and benefits administration.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, state leave programs.
• Experience with third-party leave administrators and insurance carriers.
• Excellent communication, consultation, and customer service skills.
• Experience interpreting and applying regulatory requirements.
• CEBS, SHRM, or related certification preferred.
• Experience with UKG Workforce Management/Timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Manage LOA cases from initiation through return to work.
• Provide guidance on eligibility, benefits continuation, documentation, and WR processes.
• Maintain expertise in federal and state leave regulations; ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Accommodations, Workers' Comp, HRBPs, and stakeholders.
• Educate managers on leave processes, time-off policies, and attendance.
• Conduct audits and reconciliations of leave activity and balances.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and participate in cross-functional projects.
