Job summary

ElevateBio in Waltham, MA is seeking a Senior Scientist, LNP, Process Development & Manufacturing to lead LNP formulation studies and scale-up for GMP manufacturing. You will collaborate with MSAT, Quality, and external clients to advance LNP-based therapeutics from development to large-scale production.

The role requires a PhD with 5+ years in LNP development or equivalent experience, with expertise in tLNP engineering, analytical methods, and process transfer.

Qualifications

• PhD with 5+ years in LNP development or BS/MS with 12+ years in industry.
• Experience with GMP, CMC documentation, and tech transfer.
• Proven ability to scale LNP processes to GMP manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead LNP formulation studies for process characterization and manufacturing readiness.
• Collaborate with MSAT, AD, Quality, Manufacturing and external clients on tech transfer.
• Characterize LNP/tLNP formulations via DLS, zeta potential, and encapsulation assays.
• Analyze data, identify improvements, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Support commercial team by evaluating proposals for LNP manufacturing.
