Prime Medicine is seeking a Senior Scientist / Senior Engineer to lead LNP process development, characterization, and scale-up for robust drug product manufacturing. Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Materials Science, or related field with extensive industrial LNP process development experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in LNP formulation, TFF, and related characterization methods.
• Experience with scale-up to GLP/GMP and technology transfer to GMP facilities or CDMOs.
• Strong analytical skills (HPLC/UPLC, DLS/SLS, TEM, DSC, SAXS, UV-Vis, fluorescence).
• Knowledge of DoE and QbD methodologies; familiar with CMC regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, execution, and optimization of LNP processes from bench to GLP/GMP scale.
• Serve as SME for LNP process development across programs and therapeutic areas.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and materials to improve delivery and manufacturability.
• Support tech transfer to CDMOs, including on-site support and troubleshooting.
• Author and contribute to CMC sections of regulatory filings and responses.
• Maintain meticulous ELN documentation and generate development reports and SOPs.
• Communicate complex technical information to cross-functional and external partners.
