Job summary

ElevateBio is seeking an experienced LNP Senior Scientist to join our process development team. You will design and execute LNP formulation studies and collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external clients to manufacture LNP‑based therapeutics.

Ideal candidates have hands-on LNP formulation and tLNP development expertise, with strong data analysis, regulatory awareness, and the ability to drive technology transfer from development to GMP manufacturing at ElevateBio.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field with 5+ years in LNP development.
• GMP exposure and ability to prepare CMC documentation.
• Experience scaling LNP processes to GMP manufacturing.
• Experience with ligand density, tLNP optimization.
• Strong data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead LNP formulation studies to support characterization, tech transfer, and manufacturing readiness.
• Collaborate with MSAT, AD, Quality, Manufacturing, and clients on tech transfer and scale‑up.
• Characterize LNP and tLNP formulations using DLS, zeta potential, encapsulation, lipid quantification, stability.
• Analyze data, identify improvements, and report findings to stakeholders.
• Support commercial by evaluating work packages to attract clients.
