Job summary

Sisters of Mercy of the Americas is seeking a Senior Learning and Development Specialist to manage the LMS and support organization-wide learning initiatives. You will optimize the LMS, coordinate onboarding, and partner with HR and organizational leaders to foster growth and upskilling.

The role involves developing engaging learning experiences, producing analytics, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Telecommuting may be available upon eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 5–7 years of LMS administration or learning operations experience.
• Experience with blended learning and HR technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer LMS, manage user access, curricula, certifications, and compliance tracking.
• Enhance LMS functionality with user support and system optimization.
• Monitor training compliance and collaborate with leaders on completion of required learning.
• Develop and maintain learning materials, programs, and communications.
• Facilitate virtual and instructor‑led learning sessions and manage logistics.
• Produce reports and dashboards on learning activity and metrics.
• Support data‑driven decisions through learning analytics.
• Travel approximately 10–15% as needed.
