Instead, the specialist will work collaboratively with the client's selected LMS implementation partner and internal stakeholders to help ensure that business processes, learning workflows, content, testing, reporting requirements, staff readiness, and user adoption are effectively aligned with the new learning environment.

This is a remote 1099 opportunity requiring up to 20 hours per week, with an anticipated performance period of December 2026 through June 2027.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help translate business, learning, and user requirements into practical LMS workflows and operating processes.
  • Map current and future-state workflows for LMS administrators, learning/program staff, instructors, and learners.
  • Support assessment and prioritization of existing learning content for migration, update, consolidation, archival, or retirement.
  • Assist in developing content-migration readiness criteria, checklists, and tracking tools.
  • Review proposed LMS workflows from the perspective of usability, operational sustainability, and user adoption.
  • Develop and document user acceptance testing (UAT) scenarios based on staff and learner workflows.
  • Participate in UAT and help document findings, issues, dependencies, and recommended follow-up actions.
  • Support the identification of reporting, measurement, and learning-analytics requirements.
  • Help define LMS-related roles, responsibilities, governance processes, and administrative procedures.
  • Contribute to staff readiness assessments and role-based training strategies.
  • Develop or review LMS-related training materials, job aids, SOPs, quick-reference guides, and other staff-support resources.
  • Help develop learner-facing guidance and support resources where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with change management, instructional design, project management, and client stakeholders on communications and go-live readiness.
  • Identify LMS-related risks, dependencies, or adoption barriers and recommend practical mitigation strategies.
  • Support post-launch evaluation and continuous-improvement activities, as required.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 3-5 years of experience administering, supporting, managing, or providing consultation related to Learning Management Systems.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more major LMS or learning platforms, such as:
  • Cornerstone OnDemand
  • Workday Learning
  • Docebo

  • or a comparable enterprise learning platform.
  • Experience developing or documenting LMS workflows and business processes.
  • Experience supporting LMS testing, including UAT scenarios, test scripts, issue documentation, and/or validation.
  • Experience working with learning content and LMS content-management or migration activities.
  • Understanding of LMS reporting, data, learning metrics, and administrative requirements.
  • Experience developing user documentation, job aids, SOPs, or LMS training/support materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with technical implementation teams while representing business and end-user requirements.
  • Ability to communicate technical LMS concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment while collaborating with a multidisciplinary project team.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, associations, professional education, continuing education, membership organizations, or other complex learning environments.
