Job summary

Emerson is seeking an experienced Sr. LMS Specialist to lead advanced LMS initiatives across the Global Education Services ecosystem.

You will drive system enhancements, governance, data integrity, and scalable solutions in collaboration with stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors. You will own testing strategies, release management, and analytics to support operational decision-making while ensuring accreditation and compliance alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Learning & Development, or related field with 8+ years’ experience; or 6+ years with a Master’s degree.
• Proven success managing LMS integrations, releases, and testing/validation for learning platforms.
• Deep knowledge of LMS administration, security roles/permissions, IACET standards, and data/reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex LMS initiatives, managing scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder alignment.
• Monitor LMS integrations for data integrity and continuity.
• Coordinate release management with LMS vendor and IT, including testing and post-release monitoring.
• Design and lead system testing strategies and user acceptance testing for releases and enhancements.
• Review release notes with vendors and IT; evaluate configuration and enhancement opportunities.
