Job summary

The Bristal in Bethpage, NY is seeking professional, customer-service oriented Waitstaff to serve meals to Residents in our luxury Independent Living Community.

Take resident meal orders, check station settings for cleanliness, read menus to assist residents with selections, and help with plating and portions. This part-time/per diem role offers a Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday day shift, with part-time hours potentially including one weekend day per week. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Experience as a server in a restaurant or food service.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong multi-tasking and people skills.
• Patient with seniors and able to handle demanding customers.
• Experience with senior residents preferred.
• Team player who supports a pleasurable dining experience.
• Knowledge of food safety and health guidelines is a plus.

Responsibilities
