Job summary

The Bristal is seeking professional, customer service oriented Waitstaff to serve meals to residents in our luxury Independent Living Community. The successful candidates will have a positive attitude and provide excellent service in a cooperative team environment.

Responsibilities include taking orders, ensuring tables are clean, reading menus to assist residents with selections, and aiding in food preparation and portions for courses and desserts. Full-time or part-time day shifts available.

Qualifications

• Experience as a server in a restaurant or food service-related industry.
• Able to function in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ability to multi-task.
• Good communication, customer service and people skills.
• Patient and able to deal with a demanding customer base.

Responsibilities

• Take resident meal orders.
• Check station tables for settings and cleanliness.
• Read the menu before service so you can assist residents with selections.
• Assist in plating and proper portion controls of appetizers, salads, soups, beverages and desserts.
