Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Transportation Coordinator (Driver) to deliver a structured, resident-focused transportation program within the community. Responsibilities include driving, scheduling, resident communication, and operational support.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 21+ years old with 3+ years driving experience, and a valid driver's license with a clean MVR. Full-time hours Sunday–Thursday, 8:30am–5:00pm, at our community locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age with a minimum of three (3) years of licensed driving experience.
• Valid state Driver’s License (Class E) and a clean MVR.
• Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles, buses, and mobility lift systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation services during scheduled hours (including designated medical transport days).
• Safely operate community vehicles for medical, recreational, and personal transport.
• Enter and manage transportation requests in the digital system; ensure schedules are accurate.
• Maintain vehicle readiness with routine inspections and clean, fueled, functional vehicles.
• Support programming/outings with logistics, resident participation, and safety adherence.
• Assist with non-driving tasks and interdepartmental support during scheduled hours.
