Job summary

Provincial Senior Living is seeking a reliable Driver to provide timely transportation for residents to activities, with a focus on courteous service and safety. The role involves assisting passengers, securing wheelchairs, and communicating with the base to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include vehicle maintenance, cleanliness, registrations, and documenting vehicle condition on a monthly and per-trip basis. Growth opportunities and competitive wages are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
• Must be knowledgeable of safety precautions and comply with safety measures.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Current CDL may be required with an acceptable driving record per DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to and from activities.
• Assist disabled passengers into and out of the vehicle.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize them during trips.
• Safely operate radio, cell phone or pager to communicate with base or other vehicles.
• Maintain all community vehicles in good working condition.
• Clean and service vehicles with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Assist with vehicle registration and license plates renewal process.
• Inspect and document vehicle condition on a monthly and per-trip basis.
