Job summary

Provincial Senior Living is hiring a Driver to provide timely, courteous transportation for residents to activities and events within the community.

The role includes assisting disabled passengers, securing wheelchairs, and communicating with the base staff to ensure safe, reliable service. Candidates should have a high school diploma, be 21+, and ideally hold a CDL with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• CDL may be required with acceptable driving record.
• Experience in customer service, preferably in a senior living setting.
• Knowledge of safety precautions and adherence to safety measures.
• Organized with strong time management and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to activities.
• Assist disabled passengers into and out of the vehicle.
• Secure wheelchair passengers to restraints to stabilize during trips.
• Use radio/cell/pager to communicate with base or other vehicles.
• Maintain community vehicles in good working condition.
• Clean and service vehicles with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Assist with vehicle registration and license plate renewals.
• Inspect and document vehicle condition monthly and per trip.
