Job summary

Provincial Senior Living is seeking a Driver to provide timely transportation for residents to activities and events. You will assist riders with entry and exit, secure wheelchairs, and communicate with base stations to ensure dependable service.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service environment, preferably in senior living.
• Must be knowledgeable of safety precautions and follow safety measures.
• Strong organization and time management skills with ability to handle priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to activities.
• Assist disabled passengers into and out of the vehicle.
• Secure wheelchairs to restraining devices during trips.
• Operate radio, cell phone or pager to communicate with base or other vehicles.
• Maintain community vehicles in good working condition.
• Clean and service vehicles with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Assist with vehicle registration and license plate renewals.
• Inspect and document vehicle condition monthly and per trip.
