Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to efficiently schedule Nurses, Med Techs and Caregivers, manage time off, track attendance, and support daily operations. You will assist the Director of Resident Care Services with resident files and clerical tasks in a fast-paced senior living environment.

The ideal candidate is reliable, empathetic, and excels in a demanding setting, delivering exceptional hospitality and ensuring residents thrive as they age.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Office; basic Excel experience.
• Clear written and verbal English communication.
• Capable of handling confidential information responsibly.
• Demonstrates initiative and reliable critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate 24 hour work schedules including coverage for call offs and approved time off requests using On Shift scheduling software.
• Manage staffing schedules to fairly distribute work hours and minimize overtime/labour hours.
• Coordinate new hire training and support orientation process.
• Data entry and administrative clerical tasks related to payroll, time & attendance in Kronos.
• Prioritize hospitality, customer service and resident satisfaction in every interaction.
