Job summary

Eagle’s Trace by Erickson Senior Living in West Houston, Texas, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support residents with daily living activities and provide personalized care across the continuum of care, including screenings, evaluations, and treatments.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, follow ASHA and state guidelines, and help residents with communication, swallowing, cognition, and voice needs, while benefiting from tuition assistance, benefits, and growth

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience with older adults preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current valid state license (OT Assistant) where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech, language, swallowing, cognition, or voice therapy screenings, evaluations, treatments, and trainings to meet resident needs.
• Follow Federal, State, and payer guidelines, ASHA requirements, and company policies and procedures; ensure compliance.
• Provide a holistic approach, supporting residents' physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Implement residents' personal care plans focusing on strengths, preferences and routines while providing comfort and belonging.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical team to address residents' needs throughout their care.
